After graduating from Navasota High School in 2008, I immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During my seven years of active service, I had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and several different countries. That opportunity humbled me greatly in my views on America and what I feel the word HOME really means. Texas is truly a one-in-a-kind place of opportunity, growth, and strength. This is why I decided to move back to Texas after my time away to pursue one of my goals of being an advocate in helping people find a place they can call home that's safe and secure.
