After successful careers in commercial real estate, financial consulting and non-profit fundraising, Ginny Galtney has taken her real estate career to a new level by joining hands with Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty. Over the past eight years she has fine-tuned her knowledge of complex residential real estate markets and contract negotiations.

Ginny's true strength lies in her listening skills and ability to get all transactions to the closing table. Whether representing a buyer or a seller, she truly believes knowledge is power. Fully representing and informing her clients is the key to her ongoing success. She is always willing to provide guidance, support and just being a sounding board when needed. Ginny understands that for many, the complexity of every transaction is a very important life decision.

Ginny's diversity of the real estate industry shines with her wide range of transactions that include sales of single family homes, townhouses high-rise condos and vacant lots. Living in Houston's Inner Loop for 40 plus years, she has developed a keen sense of the close-in real estate markets and has mastered the art of effectively negotiating properties in this area.

Volunteering is an integral part of Ginny's life and she has served on numerous non-profit boards and committees in Houston, Santa Fe, NM and in her home state of Mississippi. She was active in fundraising campaigns for William Faulkner's home in Oxford MS and the B.B. King Museum in Indianola, MS.

Ginny graduated from the University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy) with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology. She is an active member of the Chi Omega sorority.
