In 2017, Lyndsey founded Galveston Vacation Real Estate, after successfully owning and operating Pointe West Properties, a vacation rental management company and brokerage. This venture helped Lyndsey to fine-tune her abilities in the second home real estate market and also gave her a deep understanding of the vacation rental industry during its formative years.

Her success was evident when her company, Pointe West Properties, was acquired by Vacasa in 2015. This was a significant achievement as it marked Vacasa's first acquisition in Texas, demonstrating their trust and confidence in Lyndsey's capabilities and business acumen.
