Lynda Carouthers-Ford

I'm Houston area realtor and real estate maven Lynda Carouthers. I operate under Switch Realtors and will soon be "closing" in on 10 years of professional experience in real estate. While I specialize in real estate investing, where I'm currently helping to manage investors' portfolios with upward of 22 investment properties, my more than 15 years of prior experience in social services makes me passionate about serving families, and helping them find and cultivate their home. With respect to my expertise in residential real estate, I concentrate intently on teaching and journeying my clients through the nuances of the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8), VA home loans and helping new homeowners confidently navigate the home buying process for the first time. My proficiency and passion in real estate has granted me the extraordinary opportunity to diversify my brand across several silos, including merchandizing, hosting professional trainings and mentorship, as well as my becoming a two-time author, writing and advising clients and other real estate professionals about various aspects of the business. Outside of these endeavors, I'm a joyous single mother of a five-year-old child with autism; a cause for which I advocate fiercely on behalf of. I have a bachelor's degree in business from Texas Southern University, and I'm always searching for opportunities to develop and educate myself professionally.
