Lisa Keefe

A respect for heritage, firmly grounded in faith, serving with integrity, valuing education and entrepreneurship. The foundation for these characteristics was firmly instilled in Lisa by her family. Her ancestors were some of the original settlers of the area west of the Brazos River in Texas. She watched and and learned the value of hard work from her grandparents, who were ambitious businessmen and women. She was taught the importance of integrity, faith and service to community by her parents, lessons she strives to pass on to her children and grandchildren. Though Lisa's Texas roots run deep, she grew up as the daughter of a career Army officer and enjoyed the culture of various American and European communities where her dad was stationed. Her marriage to Robert in 1989 brought two Army brats together. Robert was also the son of a career Army soldier, and he followed in his dad's footsteps, serving in the infantry. The military tradition continues with their daughter, who is a Captain in the US Army Reserves. Attending her parent's alma mater, Lisa graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BBA in Marketing in 1987. She completed master's studies in Health Services Administration at the University of Kansas and enjoyed a 20+ year career in health care marketing in the Kansas City area. Returning to Texas in 2013 after raising their two daughters in Kearney, Mo., Lisa started work in the real estate industry near Houston, learning all she could about investment properties from her father. She and Robert continue managing their own rental properties and recently completed restoration of a century-old farmhouse that belonged to her great-grandparents.
