"I believe that residential real estate is a relationship business," says Jessica Forsdick. Jessica transitioned to residential real estate from careers as a commercial agent and an eight-year stint in Houston's oil and gas industry where she negotiated contracts with major and smaller operators while actively focused on mitigating risk."Working in two high-octane industries, commercial real estate and the oil industry, taught me to thrive under pressure," Jessica says. "I always am better with more on my plate."Analytic but creative, focused but very social, Jessica loves helping her clients through the home sale or purchase process. As a child, her family was a part of the oil and gas business and she remembers bouncing between Houston and Midland as the market demanded. "I am well-versed in transitioning a household from place to place," she says, "and that's a real plus for my relocation clients."Jessica understands how daunting a real estate transaction can be for many clients. A home is typically a client's largest investment and she takes guiding them through the process very seriously. "My strongest attributes are negotiation on my client's behalf and building lasting relationships," she says.Jessica volunteers with Houston Alumnae Panhellenic Association (HAPA) and the Houston Alumnae Panhellenic Foundation (HAPF); serves on the board of Be An Angel, a non-profit aiding children with multiple disabilities and/or profound deafness; and serves as president of Alpha Phi Houston Alumnae chapter.A native of Midland, Jessica attended Midland High School and earned a degree in art history/English from Texas Tech University. She enjoys shooting sporting clays and is the president/executive director of Lady Clay Shooters, Inc. She also runs and is the veteran of three half-marathons; plays golf; collects art and attends art exhibitions; frequents the symphony, theater, and ballet; and loves spending time with friends and her rescue pup.
