Janet attended Blinn College and is a Lifetime member of the Blinn College Buccaneer Alumni Letterman Association, Lifetime member of the Alumni and Friends, a Buccaneer Backer and a former student of Southwest Texas and Texas A&M universities. A mother of two daughters, today, she is keenly supportive of her grandchildren's school and sports activities and is a member of the Elks Club and Eastern Star.
