Deborah Bates

Debbie Bates opened the first RE/MAX franchise in Montgomery County with her late husband, Ted Bates, in 1984. The office quickly rose to the #1 position in Montgomery County where it has remained since. Debbie has received many awards, including the Montgomery County Association of Realtors Community Service Award in 1995, 1997 and 2001. She was the Montgomery County Association of Realtors "REALTOR of the Year" in 1996 and received the Montgomery County Women's Council of Organizations Women of Distinction Award in 1995. She was also voted the YMCA Outstanding Woman of the Decade in 1990. Debbie has been a member of many civic and charitable organizations, including the following: The Montgomery County Women's Center, The Club at Carlton Woods Advisory Board Member, Amegy Bank Advisory Board Member, member of Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County (C.R.E.A.M.), Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Ms. Bates was also honored with the distinquished award of the Houston's Top 50 Most Influential Women in 2011.
