Rhonda is a native Houstonian with 20 years of real estate experience. She strives to provide personalized customer service to all her clients. She understands that buying and selling homes can be very emotional and confusing. She concentrates on educating the buyer and seller throughout the process and feels that attention to detail and accessibility to answer any questions is key to successful transactions.


Rhonda especially enjoys working with First Time Buyers. Her services also include Listings for Sellers, Resale Homes for Buyers, New Construction Sales, and Rentals.

Rhonda graduated from The University of Houston with a Masters of Business Administration and also received a Bachelors Degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a proud Longhorn and Kappa Delta alumni. She also graduated from local Jersey Village High School. Prior to a career in Real Estate, she worked at Arthur Andersen and Hewlett Packard as a Financial Analyst.


In addition to being a busy mother of two daughters, Rhonda also enjoys reading and traveling. Above all, she strives for her work to honor God.

I am a native Texan with roots in both Beaumont & Austin. I graduated from Texas State University where I studied Psychology, Dance & Business with the opportunity to be a part of the Strutter Dance Team & Delta Zeta Sorority. After college I was privileged to work as a drill team director in the midst of starting a family with my husband, Scott. We have 3 kids & 1 Goldendoodle. I started my real estate career in 2005, and I love to serve my clients during the home-buying & selling process. There are many choices and opinions coming at the home buyer that can be stressful. Being an easygoing yet decisive person who is focused on what is best for my client, my goal is to make this process enjoyable. I love to help people, this is what makes real estate exciting to me. My years as a realtor, have taught me valuable lessons about this industry. Most importantly, no real estate deal is ever the same….While I have methods and standards that make each transaction flow more smoothly, there is no formula that guarantees perfection. Being able to calmly and decisively work through issues that arise is key & this is something I do very well! My challenge to myself is to be set apart as a Realtor. I do this by focusing on the needs of my clients, helping them make the best decision—not rushing anyone through things, but explaining things throughout the process, & anticipating problems that might occur, in order to proactively resolve them…. Debbie Bates opened the first RE/MAX franchise in Montgomery County with her late husband, Ted Bates, in 1984. The office quickly rose to the #1 position in Montgomery County where it has remained since. Debbie has received many awards, including the Montgomery County Association of Realtors Community Service Award in 1995, 1997 and 2001. She was the Montgomery County Association of Realtors "REALTOR of the Year" in 1996 and received the Montgomery County Women's Council of Organizations Women of Distinction Award in 1995. She was also voted the YMCA Outstanding Woman of the Decade in 1990. Debbie has been a member of many civic and charitable organizations, including the following: The Montgomery County Women's Center, The Club at Carlton Woods Advisory Board Member, Amegy Bank Advisory Board Member, member of Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County (C.R.E.A.M.), Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Ms. Bates was also honored with the distinquished award of the Houston's Top 50 Most Influential Women in 2011.

Brad is a Texas lawyer. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a member of the Real Estate Section of the State Bar of Texas. Brad's experience, as a lawyer and agent, will help guide you through some of life's greatest decisions. For 23 years, he has been handling transactions in residential and commercial real estate, farm and ranch, oil and gas, as well as business and financial matters for clients. Brad has been a CEO and CFO leading the acquisition and divestiture of companies in oil & gas, energy services, technology, and renewable fuels. Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Delaware, and a Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law. As a partner in a Houston law firm, Brad represented a broad range of individual and business clients in real estate, commercial transactions, master-planned real estate development, maritime law, energy services, manufacturing, property owners associations, oil and gas, and more. Brad is also admitted to practice before all the Federal Courts in Texas, The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and The United States Supreme Court. Brad is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association, a Life Member of the Sheriff's Association of Texas and a Life Member of the Coastal Conservation Association.

Konae was born into the real estate business. Her mother, an agent and then broker, helped families buy and sell homes in Houston for nearly 50 years. For over sixty years, Konae's godfather developed subdivisions, commercial property, as well as farms and ranches. Konae was born and raised in suburban Houston. She's witnessed, first hand, Houston's decades-long development into a word-class, gateway city. For 23 years, Konae was a partner in a boutique brokerage specializing in luxury waterfront homes. She has degrees in International Business and Marketing from Schiller International University, Heidelberg, Germany. Konae is a former Board Member of The Henderson County Cancer Society. She created the first Cattle Baron's Run and served as its chairperson. She directed The Cattle Baron's Ball, and served on the Enchanted Isles Homeowners Association Board of Directors. She is the co-creator of IFAA, International Fitness und Aerobic Akademie, and BodyStep. She is also former Miss Texas Teen USA. Konae is fluent in German.

After they exited their brokerage, energy-service company, and oil and gas investments, Konae and Brad prioritized spending more time together. They merged their careers to form Mitchell Group to practice residential and commercial real estate. The couple resides in Cypress. Together, they enjoy time with their family, coaching stand up paddling, biking, saltwater fly-fishing, traveling, and helping others.
