Christina Burgos

Since 1994, Christina "Tina" Burgos has sold homes, multiple family units, new construction, lots, commercial property, and acreage to or for discerning Sellers and Buyers throughout Houston and surrounding areas. Burgos provides quality service and attention to detail indicative of the continued business acquired by referral and repeat clients. She specializes in and near the Inner Loop area including the Heights, Montrose, Museum, Memorial Park, Bellaire, Memorial Villages, Spring Branch, and West University neighborhoods.

Burgos is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), one of the most innovative and largest Realtor Associations in the country. A respected peer among her colleagues in the industry, she presently serves on the Technology Advisory Group (2008-2010, 2012, 2019, 2022-present). She has also served on the Information Advisory Group (2020-2023) and the Management Central Advisory Group in 2012.

A member and former Secretary (2007-2009) of the Houston Independent Real Estate Brokers Association (HIREBA - www.hireba.org), Burgos maintains close ties in promoting and acquiring leads for clients among this group of independent brokers and their agents (100+ membership).

A Houstonian since 1980, Burgos graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1990 where she earned a Bachelors of Science degree double majoring in Biology and Psychology. Four (4) years as a Medical Technologist and performing HIV research at Baylor College of Medicine preceded and prepared Burgos for her successful career in real estate. Since 1994, Burgos has built a strong practice with loyal repeat clientele as a result of her attention to detail and professionalism in all tasks of real estate.

Burgos is also honored to serve as a Board Member of the Montrose Center, formerly known as the Montrose Counseling Center (MCC). Established in 1978 as a safe place for LGBTQ+ Houstonians to receive quality, affirming mental health services, the Montrose Center has emerged as one of the nation's leading full-service LGBTQ+ centers. As the community's needs have evolved over the last 45 years, services have expanded to include: youth and senior services, substance use disorder treatment, gender-affirming care, support and advocacy for survivors of violent crimes, and HIV prevention and care. The Montrose Center sits at the center of Houston's LGBTQ+ community and serves as a gathering place for LGBTQ+ organizations and activities. In 2021, the Center opened a second campus, the Law Harrington Senior Living Center, which is home to more than 140 seniors and the nation's largest LGBTQ-affirming, affordable senior living center. The Montrose Center is a United Way Agency.

Burgos cherishes the joy her clients experience and their appreciation of her efforts as each closing of a property starts a new chapter in their lives. Burgos and her wife enjoy world wide travel and time with their extended family, including 11 nieces and nephews. When her work schedule permits, she also enjoys participation in triathlon, XTERRA-off road triathlon, outrigger canoe paddling, running groups, adventure racing, and recreational softball.
