Cathy Lakey has been helping people hit home runs in buying and selling homes for many years. Part of a family that loves baseball, it's not surprising that she sees commonality between achievement on a baseball diamond and achievement in her profession.

Her "secret" to success is pretty much the same as that of the big-league sluggers -- lots of hard work, preparation, continuous improvement, and never settling for mediocrity. She stays on top of the latest trends in real estate marketing and seeks opportunities for ongoing education in her field.

With more than 20 years of active real estate experience, Cathy maintains a strong commitment to continued learning and professional development. As such, she holds several industry-known designations -- ABR, CHMS, CLHMS, CNE, CRS, e-PRO, GRI, SRES -- offering expertise in luxury marketing, negotiating, staging, relocation, the active-adult community, and much more. She also has handled many sales involving estates and probates. In addition, Cathy is expanding into commercial real estate services and working to obtain her broker's license.

Cathy holds the coveted CRS designation awarded by the National Association of REALTORS. As such, she is one of an elite group comprising only 3 percent of REALTORS nationwide who have met the education and production requirements to earn and maintain this designation. The Certified Residential Specialist designation has been referred to by some in the business as "like having a doctorate degree in real estate."

Her commitment to her clients is evident in her open style of communication, her attention to detail and her service-minded attitude.

A resident of The Woodlands and Kingwood since 1998, Cathy knows the area communities well. While Cathy personally serves the greater Houston market area, she offers referral services to outstanding real estate professionals worldwide. Cathy specializes in The Woodlands/Conroe/Spring area, the Kingwood/Humble/Atascocita area, the Tomball/Cypress area and often far beyond to serve her clients' needs.
