Even at a young age I have always taken great pride, applied myself, and shown true dedication to my work. I have always strived to excel at any task at hand. Shortly after high school I became a Dental Lab Technician. I spent four years in the industry where I continued to excel and then decided it was time for an adventure, so I enlisted into the U.S. Army Reserves where I trained as a Combat Medic. In 2010 my husband and I started our search for our forever home, we fell in love with everything about the Austin area, and we couldn't move here fast enough. We now live in Leander and have four incredible children who are our entire world. Over the years I have spent my time designing marketing flyers for local agents where I truly fell in love with the real estate business. I wanted to take my career further and pursued obtaining my real estate license. Real Estate has become my passion and I have enjoyed working with new home builders, investors, and have had the privilege to assist so many precious families find their own little piece of Texas to call home.

Cindy Greenwood has lived in Austin since 1986, since then she has watched our city prosper with dynamic growth. Cindy is known throughout the community for her professionalism, high energy and knowledge of the real estate market. Cindy has a strong referral base and is identified as an expert in the high-end residential home sales. Cindy enjoys working with her clients to help them accomplish their goals in all aspects of the real estate transaction. It is important to Cindy to support her community through involvement with various organizations. She is deeply committed as she currently serves on the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo Board and Lone Star Cattlemen Foundation. Cindy served as Chair for the Rodeo Austin Gala 2005-2007 and served as the First Woman to Chair the Rodeo Austin’s Youth Auction from 2008-2009. It is a passion of Cindy’s to raise awareness and money for the Youth of Texas. In prior years Cindy has served on several boards including Elizabeth Ann Seton, March of Dimes, Ronald McDonald House Advisory Board and Junior League of Austin. Cindy and her husband John Greenwood have three grown children, Harris, Nelson and Anna. Cindy is very involved in the Austin community and is a member of several organizations throughout Austin.

Although it has taken me over 30 years to get back to Austin, I am thrilled to finally be here, and even more thrilled to be able to work both in Austin and Houston! As a graduate of St. John's School (where both my husband, Bennett and my daughter, Ellie - class of 2015 graduated as well) and after earning my English degree from the University of Texas, where I was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, I pursued numerous adventures in Houston - from owning a sports bar, to being a family law legal assistant, to running our family's oil and gas business. My latest adventure was my decision to reinvent myself after all these years and go back to school and earn my real estate license!.

With over 30 years of personal real estate experience buying and selling numerous properties (homes, condos, farm and ranch), once I got my license, I went to work cutting my teeth in the highly competitive Houston market and earning a considerable number of professional designations including: GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS) - tools that allow me to provide excellent service to my clients.

I represent all ranges of buyer and sellers in both Austin and Houston, from first timers to experienced veterans, guiding my clients step-by-step through the intricacies of the purchase process. My advanced real estate education and skill-set allow me to make the home buying experience as seamless as possible. From the very beginning of the process of choosing a lender for a pre-approval, to selecting and screening homes, to negotiating the murky waters of the sales contract, to ensuring all deadlines are met, to making sure all t's are crossed and all i's are dotted, I oversee the entire transaction with my full and undivided attention to every detail.

As one who loves to be creative and “think out of the box,” I view situations from a fresh perspective and don’t get bogged down with how things have always been done. I also have a wicked sense of humor, and love people and animals. My mother once told me that people are not loved for their strength of character, but rather for their amiable weaknesses. I must confess that my amiable weakness (according to my husband and daughter) lies in my innate inability to cook. So I draw upon the kindness and generosity of my clients and friends to provide me with foolproof recipes that I can share.

During my spare time, you can find me relaxing at our farm in Round Top, cheering on the Texas Longhorns, on the beach in Port Aransas delving into a good murder/mystery, developing another fool-proof recipe, or visiting my daughter up at NYU.
