A native Houstonian, Shawn attended Tulane University and graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and later received his MBA with concentrations in Finance and Management. Shawn has worked in the Energy Industry for over 20 years and have held assignments across the US and Internationally. I spent 23 years working with families in Texas public schools as a Special Education Teacher and Team Leader. I advocated for my students to help them get the best education possible and worked closely with their families to give them any available resources.

I have my Master of Education in Counseling and have been a life long learner in education and educating.
