Raised in the Commonwealth subdivision of Sugar Land, Brittany Zalman in no stranger to the place she calls home. As a 2004 graduate of Clements High School, she went on to study Business Marketing at The University of Texas at Tyler, and followed that with lead positions in managing the offices of the Greg Travis Law Firm and for the Neurosurgery department at UTHealth. Subsequent to UT Tyler, Brittany also worked as a property manager at Hunington Properties and this is where she was introduced and found a strong interest in real estate.

With a solid background in Commercial Real Estate and Property Management, Brittany knew she wanted to move closer to the residential real estate industry where she could best help individuals and families while using her strong business, organization, and communication skills to their fullest potential. After obtaining her Texas Real Estate license in 2011, Brittany worked for Greenwood King and sold residential real estate in the Greater Houston and surrounding areas. Upon moving back to Sugar Land to raise a family with her husband, Brittany joined Benevides & Associates to build a real estate career in the community she came to love and appreciate throughout her childhood. Brittany currently resides in Sweetwater with her husband Chase and their daughters Abigail & Emmaline. Jo Ann has served the real estate community in many leadership roles including Chairman of the Fort Bend PAALS, Chairman of the HAR Fort Bend Networking Group, Chairman of the TREPAC Advisory Group and as a TREPAC Trustee. She currently serves as a Regional Vice President for Texas REALTORS and on the Executive Committee and the Board of Director for both National Women's Council of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS. She is also a Federal Political Coordinator for House Representative Troy Nehls. Jo Ann is a Major RPAC Investor and a President's Circle Member, and IN 2019 was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame.

Jo Ann is a founding member of Women's Council of REALTORS Fort Bend, serving as President in 1990. She went on to serve as State President in 1996 and in 2018 represented the organization as the National President. Under her direction, Women's Council signed their first International Agreement with Spain, rolled out a new network model to over 250 cities across the country, developed a standard operations agreement for all networks and launched a Foundation for the organization. Additionally, Women's Council rolled out a new 3-year Strategic Plan in 2018 and increased their RPAC numbers to achieve the highest participation rate of any institute, society or council in the NAR family.

Jo Ann is actively involved in her community, having served as Chairman of the Board for the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce twice, and Treasurer of the Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council

Jo Ann is actively involved in numerous charitable organizations, including The Arc of Fort Bend "Best in the West" event raising in excess of $5M for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Stevens has also been honored for her many commitments. She received the Local Member of the Year Award, Local Entrepreneur of the Year Award and State Member of the Year Award from Women's Council twice. In 2018 she received the REALTOR of the Year Award from the Houston Association of REALTORS and she has also received the HAR Fort Bend REALTOR of the Year and the prestigious Omega Tau Rho Award from the National Association of REALTORS.

Stevens is a third-generation Texan and graduate of the University of Houston (BBA, Marketing). She has been married to husband Ron Stevens since 1975. The couple lives in Richmond and have four children, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and 3 Shih Tzus pups.
