John volunteers his time to support the Strake Jesuit, Duchesne Academy, Houston Food Bank, The Regis School of the Sacred Heart, and Relay for Life. He volunteers to plant Trees for Houston. He participates in masters swim at the YMCA. He is a Grand Champion winner of the Spacepex Stamp Show.
