A Senior Labor Relations Specialist with the world's largest pilots' union for the past 25 years, Philip is well practiced in negotiating, mediating, and representing pilots in negotiations regarding collective bargaining, as well as in disciplinary and grievance hearings, and has acquired invaluable negotiation skills and business knowledge. He has also learned the importance of structure, diplomacy, professionalism and drive, all of which he incorporates into his very successful real estate career.
Very detailed oriented, clients working with Philip get more than an agent; they get a professional advocate with an extensive portfolio of finance and negotiation experience – skills he is ready to use to help them attain their goals.
Philip has been a resident of The Woodlands for the last 25 years, which gives him intimate knowledge of the community and its many amenities.
His move to The Woodlands was precipitated by his marriage to his lovely wife, Missy, a local Dentist who has been a resident of The Woodlands herself for over 45 years. They have two daughters and are members of The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
I grew up in Chicago and graduated from Loyola University. I have also lived in Louisiana, Florida and Texas. I first relocated to The Woodlands in 1996 and currently reside there along with my wife and two children.
I retired from government service several years ago after having served in an executive law enforcement position within the United States Department of Homeland Security. I understand the challenges of buying, selling and leasing property having been relocated many times during my previous career. A personal note to prospective clients; 25 Years ago I arrived in this glorious place called The Woodlands, TX...to continue serving in the USAF/Air National Guard and start my career in Nutritional medicine with MD Anderson. Many said I would like it; they now know I LOVE IT! It is the first time in my life I felt like I was home! That is a very important statement as I myself was homeless as a runaway teenager. Many helpful folks opened their homes to me and allowed me to serve in anyway I could to "EARN" my rent or living space. Sometimes it was just a closet. I could not have been more grateful for a warm place to sleep and all the life skills learned about home repair and remedy. I have put all into my now 15 year real estate career. As an individual with no paid leads or a team to refer I have closed over 42 million with only the last 8 years being a full time agent. I have found my riches....IN THE PEOPLE I have served and get to call friends! My name really is Odessa and, suits me well in this awesome state of TEXAS! As a single mother for almost 20 years it is my clients who allowed me to raise my my son and daughter and see them off to their respective colleges. Our life here grew in ways I never dreamed! The amazing schools and kind neighbors and generous community made our life here so full and rewarding. I want to pass this same experience on to my buyers, sellers, and leasing clients. Nicole Lockwood grew up in The Woodlands, graduating from the John Cooper School and later finished her education as a Boilermaker at Purdue University. After spending 16 years working in the music industry in Atlanta, she's back to her roots and ready to buy and sell in the area she knows best, her hometown.
