Lifelong Texas resident Amy Lusk knows the difference that a first impression makes. An award-winning professional in the hotel and hospitality field, Amy's approach to exceptional customer service is centered around her core values of honesty and integrity. She uses these principles and her extensive community network to help her clients smoothly navigate the world of real estate. Amy is originally from Pasadena, Texas, and she lived in many parts of the state before settling in The Woodlands area. She attended the University of Houston–Clear Lake, where she completed a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology. From there, her career took her to the hospitality industry, where she worked both in sales and as a general manager for local hotels. Amy's interest in real estate dates back to her childhood when her grandmother was a successful agent. With extensive experience and knowledge from the service industry, Amy decided to use her skills to transition into a real estate career, following her grandmother's example. After two decades of helping customers to find temporary accommodations, she now aims to guide her clients to purchasing their forever homes. Amy lives in Woodforest with her husband and teenage twins, and she is a proud member of the Woodforest community. She enjoys cheering on her children at football games and dance competitions, and she volunteers as a class liaison for the Montgomery Cotillion.

Originally from China, Xiuyan has been a resident of The Woodlands since 2008 and has developed a great affinity for the area and all that it has to offer! After living in the United States for 15 years, she has resided in multiple cities and communities across the country, but has yet to experience the same connection that she has with The Woodlands area. She particularly appreciates the community’s natural environment, its amenities and conveniences, school, weather, and the relatively low living costs. As a real estate agent, she aspires to introduce buyers to a community where they will feel this same connection and appreciation.

Prior to real estate, Xiuyan had been quite successful academically. She earned her BE and PhD degrees in prestigious chemical engineering programs offered by Tsinghua University in China and the University of Minnesota, respectively. After having children, however, Xiuyan decided to stay at home to raise them for the last eight years. With a desire to get back to work while still raising her children, Xiuyan opted to pursue a career in real estate due to its flexible hours and minimal travel.

Xiuyan originally joined Connect Realty because of their extensive training and valuable resources that have equipped her with the essential tools to generate optimal results for her clients. Whether representing buyers or sellers, Xiuyan’s philosophy and work ethic remain the same. As a Houstonian, I have seen how vast the area has grown. I remember back when West Houston had dirt roads and Katy was just rice fields. The Katy area has been my stomping ground since 2006. Outside of real estate, I enjoy movies, traveling, sporting events, county fairs, parks, spending time with my family and our 2 big dogs. I value volunteering and being active in the community. For about 10 years, I was highly active in a local sporting league, including being on the Executive Board of that group. Additionally, I have volunteered over the years for animal shelters, churches, and various charities.
