Tena's real estate career began in the 1970's, when she negotiated commercial leases for a Houston Development Firm. She then spent several years dealing with and personally investing in both the Houston commercial and residential real estate markets, concidentially with the raising of her two children. After their graduation from Memorial High School, Tena returned her full-time focus to the Houston residential real estate market, with emphasis on the Memorial area of Houston. However, being a native Houstonian and a full-service agent, Tena also works with properties throughout the Houston area. Ibtesam is originally from the Middle East and moved to PA, USA when she was 7 years old. She graduated from Temple University with a B.S in Biology and a Public health Minor. She completed her Masters in Public Health Administration at West Chester University while teaching Elementary students various subjects. Since her family are business owners, she has developed a natural inclination towards economics and business skills.

Lowry attended Frostwood, Memorial Junior and Memorial High schools in Spring Branch ISD. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's of science degree and has post-graduate professional hours from Rice University and the University of Houston. The proud mother of a son, Hunter, who earned a degree in engineering from Texas A & M University in 2016, Lowry enjoys traveling, skiing, dining out with friends and family, and catching the latest movie.
