My clients benefit from my experience in these areas. I bring the integrity developed in my 28-year career with the U.S. Navy, where I retired as a Commander in 2012. As you may expect, I made many moves and prepared my own homes for sale during my time in service, so I can relate to what people are going through. I strive to pass along my hands-on experience as I help navigate my clients through the sales process, negotiations, & contract requirements.
Two things I love are helping people and getting a good deal. I get to do both as a Realtor with eXp Realty. I'm excited about the opportunity to share my abilities of guiding people through complex processes, conducting research & analysis, and negotiating good deals for those who have all sorts of Real Estate needs. What makes my job so fulfilling is the aha moment at closing when the final papers are signed. You can hear the excitement in a client's voice, or see the thankful look on their face, when they realize the deal is done and the home is actually bought and sold. In my spare time I am working on renovating our home, caring for elderly parents, and grooming Miniature Schnauzer show dogs. My other interests include Aviation, Scuba diving, Sailing, and playing board games with my family to name a few.
Renovating our home has reminded me of what it is like for my clients: looking for quality service to get a job done in the desired timeframe, starting the process with the end in mind, and accomplishing all the tasks until the job is done. For the client, it centers around being and feeling heard, and for me, it's about providing essential help for the client to achieve their goals.

On a small farm in South Africa, for which I am forever grateful, I knew I wanted to serve humanity. Granted, I may not have known exactly how. And perhaps, because I am part of that Millennial generation, rumored to be lacking in passion or drive; I was driven, passionately to break away from any self-imposed, aged, or cultural limits and follow something entirely my own. My love of people and desire for authentic connection were the dynamic forces behind my advances. I am delighted to have worked in the service industry for the past 15 years. And I did so exclusively, from a young age, eventually working at an elite restaurant. It was during this time I was captivated by the remarkable, weird, diverse, wanderlust characters I encountered. My favorite quote, Paulo Coelho's Be brave, take risks, nothing can substitute experience, motivated me even further. And so, I took the risk and bravely migrated to the United States to gain more experience in Project Management and Hospitality. It quickly occurred to me, that is Real Estate! Now, I am comfortably at home, a South African farm boy, turned Texan Nothing thrills me more than connecting buyers and sellers. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the pride of home ownership. Meeting the needs of home buyers and sellers allows me to experience more of what I love, while providing a service that makes my clients comfortable and prepared.
