During that time, she has amassed a record of success that includes 16 Top Producer titles, and the South Central Texas Board of REALTORS® recognized Cathy as their first two-time “REALTOR® of the Year 1997 & 2005.” This year she was awarded the People’s Choice Award for Best Realtor and Heritage Texas Country Properties was awarded the same award for Best Real Estate Company. After living in Southern California, London, Italy, Africa, the Middle East and Houston, Cathy settled with her family in Brenham over thirty years ago. Cathy has also been on the Political Involvement Committees Board for the Texas Association of Realtors. Cathy says the best advice she ever received was to “be honest and love my work.”

She became director of marketing and partner relations with responsibility for the company's Houston and San Antonio offices. Kecia also edited and produced a quarterly real estate magazine for both offices.

When not selling real estate, Kecia enjoys spending time with her son, Pearson, as well as family and friends. One of her great passions is traveling including returns to her home town of Casper, Wyoming to visit relatives still residing in the area. In addition to travel, Kecia also enjoys event planning, interior redesign, and dancing.
