Irby received a BBA in economics from Southern Methodist University. He and his wife Anne have been married for more than 41 years and have two grown children and five grandchildren.

Emelie Mavligit brings a native Houstonian's outlook and understanding of the city and its residents to her career in real estate sales with Compass Real Estate. Growing up in West University, Emelie has a close attachment to the neighborhood and the neighborhoods of Houston proper.
Graced with an outgoing personality, Emelie is a go-getter who is at the same time extremely meticulous and organized. A previous, 10-year career in marketing, public relations and event planning honed her communications skills and gives her excellent marketing savvy and an enviable list of resources to call upon. "I am very service oriented and enjoy being a concierge for my clients," Emelie says.
