Peter Techmanski was born and raised in New York State. He had a traditional upbringing in a picturesque college town founded in 1787. He first moved to Houston over 30 years ago. Peter has lived a life of variety, finding "home" wherever he is—from an Adirondack mountain village, to a pre-war midtown Manhattan townhome adjacent to the Plaza Hotel, to a Museum Area apartment in Houston. For the "Olympic Years" of the 1990's, Peter relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a dream of supporting an Olympic host city. He is comfortable wherever he is and with whomever he shares company.
His undergraduate and graduate studies covered architecture, art history, anthropology and archaeology. He studied with colleges and universities in New York, Texas and Europe.
