STEVEN McCONNELL SMITH Steve Smith has specialized in business law and real estate litigation. He has worked as an attorney representing some of Houston's largest banks and real estate companies. Mr. Smith has multi-state real estate experience and is familiar with real estate and banking laws in over thirty states. He has represented large mortgage companies and has developed a thorough legal knowledge of all real estate transactions. Mr. Smith is an expert in technology and uses that experience to manage his trial and commercial lending docket and to provide consulting services to his clients. Prior to beginning his legal career he worked in commercial real estate as a licensed real estate broker. Steve is the broker and co-founder with Mary McBeth of Village Properties.

Sandiya Venturato brings 18 years of real estate experience to Coldwell Banker United. Originally from the Southeast Asian island of Sri Lanka, she also brings with her a rich cultural diversity and experience that spans living in several big cities and a working-knowledge of multiple corporate industries.

With a degree in business, Sandiya has worked both in the Medical Industry, as an assistant to a leading orthopedic surgeon and for 11 years in global sales and purchasing in the Oil and Gas sector of Houston. Each of her experiences led to a unique and in-depth knowledge of Houston's core markets. She is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and is well versed in the relocation process with a client list of many internationals. Her knowledge spans the entirety of Houston from The Galleria, Katy, Memorial, Sugarland, Midtown, Downtown, Montrose, West University, Bellaire, River Oaks, Cottage Grove, and the Heights (just to name a few)!

In 2019 Sandiya founded Interior Staging Concepts (ISC). The company was conceived from her distinct understanding of what drives buyer decision-making. As a successful realtor and achieving exceptional results from staging and selling her own properties, Sandiya decided to follow her passion for home decor by embarking on the exciting field of Home Staging. Sandiya is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CHLMS) whose keen eye for decor and staging has helped numerous clients sell their homes in record time.

Sandiya's passion for real estate lies in marrying the perfect house with the perfect buyer. As an avid painter and artist, she describes viewing each transaction like a blank canvas, where the movement and rhythm of the lines and colors are always different...much like the people involved. A little about me- I've been married to my love since 2015, who also used to be my next door neighbor. We met, fell in love, got married, sold one of our houses and now have two, energetic daughters and a fun, loving malti-poo. Life is crazy fun! I spent nearly 15 years in the Oil and Gas Industry in Business Development, building my skills in communication and in working with all kinds of people from different backgrounds. I loved what I did, but real estate has opened the door to something I was missing- to have the chance to help people get something that greatly impacts their lives and their families.
