Before moving to Houston with my wife, Susan, I was a professional Keirin racer for 17 years. It was an exciting time in my life because I travelled all over Japan (and to Denmark representing Japan's national cycling team) racing bicycles on the velodrome.

After retiring from the athletic world, we moved to Houston with our two sons, to embark on a new adventure.
