About Me

Erik Heyne's impressive record of achievements has placed him in Martha Turner Sotheby's Circle of Excellence every year since 2006. He was inducted into Martha Turner Sotheby's Hall of Fame in 2013. Erik began his career in residential real estate in 1983 and immediately became a top producer.

His early success forged a strong foundation in sales from which he built a successful career in commercial real estate. Erik's talent for implementing creative marketing strategies also led to success in the corporate world prior to returning to his real estate roots. His corporate career experience includes Vice President, Marketing, for Waste Reduction Systems, Head of Business Development and Account Services for The Piland Marketing & Design Group, and Manager of Business Development for the Worldwide Services of ICO Polymers. His principle focus was and always has been marketing, a skill he employs successfully in selling residential real estate today.

Erik's portfolio of sold properties include homes in Tanglewood, Memorial Villages, Briargrove, West University,Southampton, inside the Loop and River Oaks. He has also achieved the CNE designation - Certified Negotiation Expert.

Erik is proficient in computer technology and stays current with innovative means of marketing real estate and communicating among clients. His attention to detail and thorough market research help clients understand market conditions and make informed decisions. Erik's ability to navigate real estate transactions and his tenacious negotiating skills assure his clients excellent results.

Community involvement is important to Erik. His past and present philanthropic commitments include chairman of various committees with Keep Houston Beautiful, the Environmental Committee of the Greater Houston Partnership where he is a lifetime member and the Solid Waste and Grant Review committee of the Houston Galveston Area Council. Erik formerly served on the board of directors of The Houston Racquet Club and The Briar Club. He is a member of the Houston, Texas and National Association of Realtors.

Erik is a fifth-generation Houstonian, a graduate of The Kinkaid School and an Eagle Scout. He went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in business administration. While at UT,Erik was president of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and an honored member of the Silver Spurs. Erik and his wife are also the proud parents of two wonderful daughters.
