A native of The Woodlands, Chip has lived in the area since 1981, when the fledgling community had fewer than 9,000 residents and only two elementary schools. Chip has literally grown up alongside The Woodlands and is intimately familiar with its geography, its culture, its amenities, and its story. Chip vividly remembers walking the muddy pit that would become Lake Woodlands at the "Bottom Of The Lake" party in 1985, and recalls riding his dirt bike with friends around the dirt track that would become Mall Ring Rd. around The Woodlands Mall.

After college, Chip and his wife chose The Woodlands as the place they would put down roots and raise their children. This decision was based primarily on the excellent public schools, and additionally on other Woodlands-area amenities like abundant natural areas, outdoor recreational activities, dining and shopping, churches and public institutions, and proximity to friends and family. Chip and his family have also enjoyed attending and participating in annual Woodlands events like The Woodlands Art Festival and The Woodlands Pride Festival, as well as the annual Fourth of July Parade and the seasonal concerts at Market Street and Hughes Landing.

Chip and his wife Jeanette live in the Village of Alden Bridge with their two children, three dogs, and two cats. In addition to spending time with his family, Chip enjoys taking in live music shows, traveling (especially to California's Wine Country), preparing lavish meals with friends, collecting rare bourbons, and supporting The Woodlands Pride organization.

I understand the stress and struggles of moving, especially with kids. As a child growing up in a military family, we moved every two to three years. As an adult with children, we moved from Corpus Christi to New Jersey to Corpus Christi to The Woodlands. With a one year old and a six year old, husband working out of town and sometimes out of state, the struggle was real.

Once we made our final move in The Woodlands, I continued working in education for Conroe ISD. I have worked in public and private schools for twenty years, with ten years in Conroe ISD as an Assistant Principal at the high school level.

My child is a student with Conroe ISD, and has participated in soccer and is now dancing at a local studio. We occasionally participate in pageants in Texas.

A personal note to prospective clients; 25 Years ago I arrived in this glorious place called The Woodlands, TX...to continue serving in the USAF/Air National Guard and start my career in Nutritional medicine with MD Anderson. Many said I would like it; they now know I LOVE IT! It is the first time in my life I felt like I was home! That is a very important statement as I myself was homeless as a runaway teenager. Many helpful folks opened their homes to me and allowed me to serve in anyway I could to "EARN" my rent or living space. Sometimes it was just a closet. I could not have been more grateful for a warm place to sleep and all the life skills learned about home repair and remedy. I have put all into my now 15 year real estate career. As an individual with no paid leads or a team to refer I have closed over 42 million with only the last 8 years being a full time agent.
