My position as a Dental assistant and working in the service industry has built me into the hardworking person I am today to serve the community in the most enjoyable way that I can. I loved the experience of helping patients and my colleagues. Working in the service industry in Houston helped give me strong and effective communication skills that allowed me to meet all types of people to connect and build strong relationships. God and my family are what drive me to be the best that I can be. I was a Singaporean, now a U.S. citizen, who pursued both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Finance at the University of San Francisco. After serving in the Singapore Armed Forces and gaining experience in the banking sector until 1993, I embarked on a new journey by relocating to Guam. There, I established a successful wholesale business catering to local hotels, supermarkets, restaurants, and retail stores. My family, consisting of my wife and three boys, made a significant move to Houston, Texas in 2006, driven by the aspiration to provide our children with a superior education in the United States. Fluent in languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, I expanded my professional horizons by obtaining my Real Estate Salesperson license in 2007 and subsequently securing my Broker license in 2011. Passionate about assisting others in their real estate endeavors, I find fulfillment in guiding individuals towards a brighter tomorrow. Whether it's navigating the complexities of real estate transactions or ensuring a smooth transition, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those I serve.

There could be no better preparation for a stellar career in real estate than many years of experience in the corporate side of the business – and that describes top producing Realtor, Jeff James. Jeff’s long career as a director of corporate services for a nationwide company headquartered in Houston gave him insight into what makes a real estate professional succeed. After handling real estate transactions, tenant representation, construction supervision, and contract negotiation on the corporate side, Jeff decided to use his expertise to become a highly successful top producer – and he’s never looked back.
When listing a home for sale, Jeff subscribes to total honesty and admits to being brutally frank with his sellers about pricing and staging the home. “I tell people who want to sell their home, ‘You have hired me and this is no longer your home, it is a piece of property.’ We then go through the property room by room and I tell them what needs to be done before presenting it to potential buyers.”
A life-long Houstonian, Jeff knows the city’s neighborhoods, even the “pocket neighborhoods” which are often overlooked. “I don’t feel like I am doing a good job if I show my clients 60 or 75 houses before finding them their next home. I determine their price range and exactly what they are looking for straight away, and then I narrow the search,” Jeff says. “People are busy and I know how valuable my clients’ time is.”
“Working with a Realtor is like hiring an employee, and my clients know that my performance is keyed to meeting THEIR real estate goals. Buying or selling a home is an incredibly emotional process. I am sensitive to that and strive to keep my clients informed every step of the way to avoid surprises,” Jeff says.
When not working, Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle, camping, travel, and caring for his two rescue dogs.
