With over 35 years of customer service experience, Melissa found her true calling in real estate. She initially worked as an assistant for a top-selling team in Texas, acquiring a solid foundation and in-depth knowledge of real estate transactions. Melissa then became a valued member of the M2 Property Group for over 4 years and now is an independent agent. She leverages her extensive experience to offer personalized and dedicated service.
Over the last 3 years, Melissa has consistently been a top producer in her office, a testament to her commitment to fostering strong relationships with clients. She takes great pride in going the extra mile and ensuring that each client receives the attention and care they deserve.

Melissa's commitment to community service extends beyond real estate. She currently serves as an HOA board member for the prestigious community of Gleannloch Farms, has chaired various volunteer boards, focusing on fundraising, event planning, and community outreach. With a keen eye for interior design, Melissa finds joy in helping clients transform houses into homes by adding personalized touches that reflect their unique style.

I've spent a good portion of my life moving. One city to another, one state to another, one country to another (specifically the U.S. and Italy). My father was in the military so we had the privilege of seeing the world, one house at a time. Searching for a new home was my absolute favorite thing to do - the house hunting with our Realtor, picking my room, looking for secret passageways. These experiences cultivated my love for real estate and my desire to always help people feel "at home."

Fast forward through 10 cities, 10 homes, a B.A in Mass Communications with a minor in Spanish & Theatre, and several event planning and sales jobs later, to the great state of Texas where I live with my son Austin. It's here that I began my career as a Realtor with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene. I then stepped out on my own and joined forces with one of Houston's top Commercial Real Estate power players, Brenda Pennington, to create Pennington Reid Residential. It is my passion to share my knowledge of the business and help everyone through the entire home buying/selling journey.
