After graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Markeith Spears began his professional career as a Power Consultant at Reliant Energy. Excelling in this role, he quickly became one of the top performing Power Consultants at Reliant Energy. As a result of electric deregulation, Reliant Energy was split and Centerpoint Energy was born.

Markeith went on to work at Centerpoint Energy for six years. During his time at Centerpoint Energy, he was tasked with overseeing the construction of several rapidly developing real estate markets such as Sienna Plantation, Shadowcreek Ranch and several other major development accounts. His charisma and hardworking traits quickly became a favorite with his network of clients. Developing the power layout plans for several major residential communities made him more proficient in negotiating and working under pressure to keep his projects on task.

After gaining valuable experience at Centerpoint Energy, Markeith decided to take on a new venture and accepted a position at Perry Homes (one of the largest privately owned home builders in the country) as a Project Manager. He was put in charge of building homes that ranged from 2000 sq ft to 8000 sq ft. During his time at Perry Homes, he was given the task of ensuring that every home was built on time and the quality control was perfect.

Making clients happy has been a responsibility he has been entrusted to do his entire professional career. His professional experience in the energy and home building sectors made his transition to Real Estate easy. Markeith possesses a wealth of knowledge in new home construction.
