Prior to my career in and passion for real estate, I attained my bachelor's degree of Fine Arts from McNeese State University, which led me to a successful teaching career, whole-heartedly devoting myself to my students and community as a vocal music educator/private instructor for 18 years.

As a teacher, my top priorities were always caring for my students and providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they needed to successfully achieve their goals. I believe teaching is a gift that keeps on giving; it provided me life-long skills in the art of communication, listening, sympathizing, partnering skills, and helping others realize their full potential in light of difficult circumstances.

I have an eye for home interior design/staging and am passionate and motivated to achieve the best results in this ever-changing market for my clients, whether buying or selling! Ronnie works with institutional owners (REIT's, Funds, TIC's, and Syndicates) in corporate real estate. He is a real estate asset manager buying, selling, leasing and representing an office and retail portfolio on behalf of over 500 accredited investors. His current portfolio exceeds 6MM square feet with an acquisition value of over $750MM. He is a CCIM and member of SIOR and serves on multiple boards and committees. His professional memberships include ICSC, IREM, BOMA, TAR, HAR and other key industry groups.

Prior to his current assignment, Ronnie has worked in nearly all facets of the commercial real estate life cycle. "From time spent in land acquisitions and development to leasing and management and ultimately brokerage and dispositions, I have gained a great deal of perspective and experience that will serve well on the HAR Board of Directors."

He is a passionate believer in life long personal and professional development and believes there is room for even more diversity in commercial real estate and enjoys networking, training, and mentoring with his peers. He is bilingual (fluent in Spanish) and lives in Houston's Westchase area. He and his wife two young boys (ages 2 and 4), two pet dobermans, and numerous aquariums of exotic fish . His hobbies include fishing, golf, hunting, reading, writing, and the occasional cigar and card game.

Raised in Pensacola, Florida, by a home builder father, real estate has always been an important part of Keith's life. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston's Hilton School of Hotel & Restaurant Management. After college, Keith entered the property and facilities management field, first at a global real estate investment trust and later for an international chemical company that occupied over 20 floors in a downtown Houston skyscraper.

Today, as a co-founder of The Brown Group at Compass alongside his wife Katherine, Keith excels at negotiations and developing systematic processes for reaching his clients' goals. Keith and Katherine make their home in a Historic Houston Heights bungalow and spend their free time with their two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels at their 100-year-old farmhouse in Round Top.
