We were first time buyers and were in Canada at the time we decided to buy a home in the US as we were relocating to Houston. Honestly before we met Kate, We were very nervous getting into the process and weren’t sure if we should make such a big decision without knowing how things work in the country. One of our friends worked with Kate had a great experience and so we decided to work with Kate. We were honest about our intentions that we are just testing the waters. She was amazing to begin with very proactive and helped us understand the process. she went far and beyond to provide us with the info as our case was typically different from a US resident. She was very patient throughout and never pushed us into a deal. Was always supportive telling us it’s a big decision and I want you guys to be happy. She also has a knack for understanding what we are unconsciously gravitated to in a home and was able to share pros and cons of the place which sometimes we tend to miss. Bidding process - Honestly, we bid a lot lower than asking price on a house that we felt was right and she didn’t hesitate to bid that for us unlike other realtors who scare you and make you bid higher. She was upfront about how that might play out and we were good with that. Finally in the end, we ended up with our dream house for the price we wished to pay before we even moved. She also helped us sort other aspects like inspection, home warranty, insurance, etc. which can be overwhelming for a foreigner. Highly recommend her.

Kate was a delight to work with in my recent purchase of a townhome in Houston. She was very patient in showing me properties over the six months that I looked for a house. She was knowledgeable about potential problems that occur with properties and how to avoid them. After we made an offer she helped with all of the inspections and helped get bids for the things that needed to be fixed. During the somewhat nerve-wracking time of obtaining financing, making offers, and negotiating fixes, she always gave me the confident and calming advice that I needed. I highly recommend her as a real estate agent.

Very professional and was responsive in a timely manner to all of our needs and requests. Very helpful in structuring the asking price offer, raising the earnest money amount, and offering a timely close as the offer got accepted without a bidding war as is often the case these days.
