I am a native Texan, originally from Austin and have been in Houston since 1995. My background prior to Real Estate was in the Homebuilding industry for 11 years, where I was a Closing Coordinator. I represented the builder and managed the closing process from contract to close. Most recently, I was an Analyst in the Oil and Gas Industry. I am devoted to God and my family. I have been married to my husband and best friend, Adam for 14 years. I am also a proud mother of 2 children, Tyler and Lindsey. I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family and living life to the fullest. I epitomizes integrity, dedication, energy and hard work in every sense of the real estate transaction. My name is Ben Bethala and I grew up most of my adult life in Greater Houston Area of Texas. I've been working in real estate from 2008 in Texas. While I am open to all areas of Greater Houston Area, I am most familiar with Cypress, Katy, Sugarland, and The Woodlands. In fact, my favorite part of the city is Houston Premium Outlets because great stores, food, and kids friendly.

To be a successful real estate agent, I believe in focusing on the community. I am a member of HAR, TAR, NAR, REBAC, NTREIS and enjoy spending my time cycling and volunteering in church. Networking gives me the opportunity to meet others in the area, stay up to date on local activities and understand the unique differences each neighborhood offers.

In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my family wife, two kids and two adorable small dogs. I enjoy cycling around Cypress and I participate Bike MS: Texas MS 150, Bike MS is the largest fundraising bike series in the world. Each year, nearly 75,000 cyclists and more than 6,000 teams ride together to change the world for people with MS. I love fishing in around Galveston Bay on my boat with friends and family.

When working with a person to list their home, I strive to thoroughly research the market to determine an accurate value, make suggestions as to what will make the property more inviting for the minimum cost, and market the property through multiple online sources to ensure the property sells for the highest price in the least amount of time. I stay in constant contact with the client and answer all calls personally or get back with them at the earliest possible moment.

When working with a client to find them a home, I LISTEN to what they want, what their needs are, what their situation is, and then go find homes that meet that criteria. I make sure they have been pre-qualified by a great lender so that when we find the right home, they can pounce on it. I am a superb negotiator, looking for creative ways to get my client what they want in a win/win/win scenario.

I have an incredible attention to detail, many times catching errors on a closing statement that lenders and title companies miss. I review contracts word by word to ensure they reflect what my client wants. I follow through to the end to make sure of a successful closing. I leave no stone unturned to find a solution when things may become difficult. I am tenacious to get my client the results they want, while establishing and maintaining great relationships with other realtors, lenders, title companies, insurance agents, and inspectors.

I was born and raised in Houston Texas. I grew up in Spring Branch and have lived in the NW Houston area all my life. There has been many changes in this town since I was a little girl and its been exciting to watch our city grow, prosper and thrive. It's been a blessing growing up and raising my own two boys here. I love my town!

I began my real estate journey over 20 years ago in real estate education, counseling, marketing and sales, managing one of the largest real estate schools in Texas. I moved to Houston in 1997. As a native Texan, I also feel like a native Houstonian because of all the time my family spent driving from Beaumont to Houston to watch Astros games or to attend concerts.

I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Minor in French. I spent two summers interning with the Texas Attorney General's office and the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. After graduating, I worked as a passport agent in both the New Orleans and Houston Passport Agencies.

I later went on to receive my Paralegal Certificate from Lone Star College and spent time working in family law. Receiving my real estate license from the great State of Texas is another accomplishment that I proudly add to my list.
