I moved to Houston in 1997. As a native Texan, I also feel like a native Houstonian because of all the time my family spent driving from Beaumont to Houston to watch Astros games or to attend concerts.

I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Minor in French. I spent two summers interning with the Texas Attorney General's office and the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. After graduating, I worked as a passport agent in both the New Orleans and Houston Passport Agencies.

I later went on to receive my Paralegal Certificate from Lone Star College and spent time working in family law. Receiving my real estate license from the great State of Texas is another accomplishment that I proudly add to my list.

Everyone experiences some sort of transition in life. Examples may include downsizing due to becoming an "empty nester", upgrading to a larger home because you're welcoming a baby, or due to family having to move in with you. You may find yourself in the middle of a divorce where you have been prompted to sell your home, or have experienced the loss of a loved one. I'm here to help with those circumstances in life. I have over 15 years of experience in the real estate and financial services industries. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and cheering my kids on in their various extracurricular activities. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University with over 7 years of human service and child welfare experience. With my knowledge of Social Work theory and my education and employment experience, I am diversified in the areas of mental health, social work, education and community service based organizations that have all taught me effective ways of working with and understanding families and their needs. Overall, my capabilities have brought me to compose a passion in the Real Estate field. I have been able to help individuals buy, sell, and/ or lease residential and commercial properties, locate investment properties, help individuals and families sustain their properties due to setbacks or misfortunate times, as well as property manage for investors worldwide. I can handle responsibility, work independently/interdependently, and maintain good working relationships with clients to support their needs and expectation in this compacity. Becoming a Real Estate Agent and investor; it has earned me the skills, energy, work ethic, and ability to learn quickly that made me advance in this field and expand in business.

Jim is the broker / owner of Cy-Fair Real Estate in Cypress, TX. As a real estate agent with over 15 years of computer consulting experience, Jim wanted to bring a fresh perspective to real estate in Cypress, TX by creating something more than a typical real estate brokerage with your standard brochure web site. He wanted to create an online experience to show-off the NW Houston area to both existing and future residents and employers and the customer service and experience for clients wanting to buy or sell a home.

With an engineering degree from Texas A&M and over 15 years experience in the computer industry, Jim has always been a very analytical person.
