About HAR TREPAC...

TREPAC

Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee (TREPAC) is the primary tool used by REALTORS® and other real estate professionals in Texas to elect officials who share our philosophy of strong property rights and a strong and healthy business environment.

The HAR TREPAC department is here to protect your business and make your voice heard. HAR knows that you work hard every day to achieve success. The real estate industry faces constant legislative and regulatory proposals which can negatively impact your success by raising the cost of doing business or adding barriers to property ownership and real estate transaction. REALTORS® representation in government is critical to creating and maintaining the most positive environment for our industry.

The PAC is a voluntary, nonprofit, unincorporated group whose membership consists of REALTORS® and others interested in protecting the free rights of property ownership in Texas and the United States. As a political action committee, TREPAC complies with all federal and state campaign contribution laws. The voluntary investments the PAC receives are used to support candidates for federal, state, and local office who demonstrate their support for the preservation of real property rights and the real estate profession. The HAR Political Affairs Advisory Group determines which candidates will receive endorsement and support.

Investing in TREPAC is the best way for you to be an advocate for your clients and protect their private property rights. It allows you to make a difference in your community on a local, state and national level. Not only will you build relationships in your surrounding community, but you will also be an exclusive member of the REALTOR® Party! Strength in numbers makes more of an impact, so what better way than having over 85,000 voices stand together with yours? If you aren’t at the table, you are often on the menu. Help us take the real estate industry off the menu!
