Ruth and Chris made the process of finding a house for my son as stress free as possible given the fact we had to sell a house in the Austin area and purchase one in Houston. The house in Austin was under contract in the first two days it hit the market. Therefore we were pressured to find something in Houston pretty fast. Getting the timing right is so difficult but we did it with Chris's help. Ruth and Chris also gave guidance on the Austin sale which helped out tremendously. My son and I were stressed after one house did not work out due to timing that I was bothering Chris even on Father's day. But even with family around I still came first with Chris calming me down saying I promise you the right house at the right price and time will come. It did! A brand new house, which was our preference but most neighborhoods had no quick move ins, appeared. The original buyer was unable to sell his house so the house was put back out for sale. We grabbed that gem right away. It fits my son's needs and is in a nice neighborhood with plenty of amenities. Chris also attends the walk through and is very knowledgeable when it comes to looking for problems so they get fixed before move in as well as negotiating. He is very charming. I highly recommend Ruth and Chris for your homebuying needs.

Chris listened and understood within the first meeting the exact home characteristics we desired. On day 2, every house we were shown, specifically in the Katy Community, checked all boxes. The time Ruth and Chris dedicated to us, especially since we were mostly on the west coast during transactions, was truly appreciated! Especially loved their positive attitudes and outlook!

Ruth and Chris are our go-to real estate agents in Katy and specifically, in Nottingham Country. They are so professional and know the neighborhood inside and out. They were able to successfully help us both in leasing our home and buying our next one. It was such fun working with them and we knew we were in good hands from day one. When any issues popped up, they had workarounds and solutions at the ready that kept the home buying process moving forward and on time. Whether you’re renting, buying or selling, this is your team and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

When we made the decision to sell our almost 4000sqft home and downsize to a 2000sqft home, the decision did not come easy. As empty nesters, we wanted something much smaller, closer to the current home we were going to sell and in a great neighborhood; Ruth and Chris made the process a lot less stressful for us. We interviewed 5 different realtors and Ruth and Chris were by far the best. Their strategy for selling our home, buying a new home and doing both within a time frame where we can move from one house to the next, without having to use a storage unit, couldn't have been executed more soundly. The process did not come without it's hiccups but Ruth and Chris mitigated all issues with a cool head and with a rapid response. In the end we are in our forever home and are looking forward to many years in our new neighborhood and since we are still nearby our old neighbors, we get to share our new memories with them as well. I highly recommend Ruth and Chris to anybody who is looking to sell or buy a home. In my opinion, they are the best realtor team in Houston!

The Ruth/Chris team went above and beyond to guide us through the process of selling our existing home and purchase of our new home. Although we had to navigate through some unique challenges on both sides of the transaction, their wealth of real estate knowledge and experience was invaluable in guiding us through the process. We initially met Chris at an open house several years earlier and were drawn to his warm personality, while also impressed by his knowledge of the local real estate market. So when it came time to list our home, we knew there was only one realtor we wanted to work with. During our initial consultation, Chris explained everything about the selling process while also providing some tips on how to increase the value of our current home. Listing our home was effortless with the Ruth/Chris team, we were particularly impressed with the professional photos and guided video (virtual tour) that they had arranged. Once listed, our home sold within the first weekend of being on the market, having received multiple offers above list price. No doubt the energy Chris put into the open house, which attracted over 50 visitors, was a leading contributor to the home selling so quickly. Throughout the process Ruth and Chris were always on hand to address any questions or concerns we had. It was reassuring to know we had a realtor who had our best interests at heart. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Ruth and Chris, who we now consider to be our personal friends. The Ruth/Chris team would be our only recommendation to anyone who is looking for a realtor in the Katy area!
