In the summer, you can float on the lake and in the winter, you can ski down the nearby slopes. The ability to access nature has a tremendous mental health benefit for the whole family.

Reno has a rich culture and a number of museums. One of the most popular is the National Automobile Museum which has over 200 cars to view. They also have a great relationship with the arts by housing the Nevada Museum of Art and hosting a number of art festivals. The community is always brimming with special events and performing arts for you to enjoy.

Endless Entertainment

Many different venues in Reno provide live entertainment. The local casinos offer a variety of entertainment all the time, so you can always find something you like. Look for one of the many small bars downtown that host music acts if a casino isnt your cup of tea. You can enjoy a quiet night sipping a locally brewed IPA or party with friends at one of Reno’s many nightclubs. Theres always something to do in Reno.

Excellent Education

In a city where education is plentiful, like Reno, finding a school for your children or even for yourself is easy. Nevadas oldest university is the University of Reno. The university specializes in programs like mining engineering, agricultural studies, journalism, and a Basque studies program - one of only two in the country.

Reno has 12 public high schools, 15 middle schools, and 65 elementary schools, giving you many options for selecting the right school for your child. The private and charter school systems also have a range of options for every age level making Reno a great place for education.

Booming Business

Nevada is booming with factories and new businesses. Since the Gigafactory opened in 2016, Reno has emerged as a business hotspot. Renos tax-free status has drawn companies since then. It is one of just seven states that do not impose business or individual taxes. It means more money in your pocket and a better profit for your new business. If youre looking for a new job or planning to open your own business, Reno is a great place to start.

Reno is a city that’s always changing for the better and it’s growing every day. Whether you’re looking to move for business or pleasure, this is one of the best cities you’ll be able to find that has great options for both.
