Valerie Allen understands that a home is the most important financial investment one can make, particularly for first-time buyers. Originally from the Midwest, Valerie grew up in N. Dallas (Richardson) and then attended The University of Texas at Austin. She moved with her family to Kingwood in 2005, where she concentrates her real estate practice. She's passionate about sharing the family-friendly neighborhood with clients, friends, and other agents. She knows the Kingwood real estate inventory like the back of her hand, and loves the people who make up the close-knit community. Also, having moved six times before she was in Middle School, so she knows firsthand what families and their children need while transitioning into a new neighborhood and school.

Valerie grew up in a real estate family. Her mother, Betty Misko, is a real estate executive in Dallas with over 40 years of experience. Growing up in a hard-working real estate family is one reason Valerie cites her mother as her personal and professional inspiration. Prior to becoming a residential sales Realtor, Valerie gained substantial business experience working in property management, marketing, copywriting, proofreading and project management. Her keen eye for detail has served her well in her real estate career.

When she isn't working, Valerie can be found at home in Kingwood, spending time with her family and friends.
