A birds-eye view of pool deck and dock areas gives you a hint of things to come as we explore this waterfront home in the gated country club community of Bentwater on Lake Conroe. Ahhhh, yes. This is what we came for. Your blood pressure is falling already. Reclining on your chaise lounge the pool almost gives the appearance of being part of Lake Conroe. You're gonna love it here.
Elegant waterfront Mediterranean in the gated, golf course community of Bentwater on Lake Conroe. Out front, you're greeted by a front courtyard leading to an impressive front entry. Tasteful landscaping adds to the terrific curb appeal and the real appeal is on the other side of this home, so let's go take a look out back.

From your back deck across your infinity pool to the open waters of Lake Conroe. The elevation is such that your boat cover and dock don't obstruct your view.
Plenty of covered area to relax between dips in the pool. We'll be back out here later, but let's now take a look inside.
Very large and welcoming foyer provides ample separation from the interior areas of the home. The formal dining room is to the right in this photo and is concealed from the foyer by the stairway. The doorway to the left of this photo leads to the media room and master suite.
Step through the foyer and enter the main living area of the home as the family room appears with the kitchen beyond. Wall of windows provides stunning views from every area.
Spacious family room focuses on an entertainment wall and a has a gas log fireplace off to the right.
Turn left and you see your very large and elegant formal dining area.
Stepping in further toward the kitchen and looking back, this gives you a full perspective of the relationship to the stairway and foyer.
Turn around and you're greeted by your chef's kitchen. Let's explore...
The curved breakfast bar is about 15' long.
From the other side you get a look at the triangular island, with prep sink. Stainless appliances are the top of the line you'd expect in a home of this caliber -- Thermador, Wolf and SubZero.
The stainless door top you see below the prep sink is a separate ice maker. I point it out simply because most people's eyes tend to be drawn to the views of Lake Conroe.
This view begins to give you a sense of the relationship of the kitchen to the family room. 
The arched doorway leads to a small office nook with the utility room beyond as well as the garage. Notice the double ovens. One is full size and the other is a "convection steam" oven which, unlike a microwave (that's seen just tot he right of the ovens) has such exceptional cooking and warming capabilities that be wondering why you didn't already have one. 
Now we're on the other side of the kitchen looking across at your 6-burner Thermador cooktop.
And here you have the full view that makes this home so special.
The kitchen is the heart of every home, and this on truly has a big heart.
You've likely been so focused on the appliances and view of Lake Conroe that you haven't fully realized the impressive amount of cabinet and counter space. 
While this is technically called the "breakfast area" it's as large as most formal dining rooms. And what a great location!!!
We're now moving toward the family room on our way to the master suite.
Notice the built-in speakers around the television. This home is served by the Savant whole-home "smart" system which drives the A/V in all rooms, lights, window coverings, door locks and security system.
Headed toward the master suite, the foyer is behind you and that's Lake Conroe from your family room window.
In the passage leading to the master suite, you pass a half bath with pool access. The transition area you see here is where the "brains" of the Savant system lives.
As you would expect, the master suite is just as luxurious as the rest of the home and has open water views to Lake Conroe as well as door access directly to the pool deck.
The master bath has dual vanities at varying heights, a jetted tub and walk-in shower. The double doors in the background lead to a very large walk-in closet with built-ins.
Heading toward the closet we pass the jetted tub and you can also see the doorless entry into the walk-in shower.
The master closet is filed with built-ins and features a cedar lined ceiling. 
The ceiling is vaulted and somewhat barrel shaped. Looking at the reflection in the mirror, you can see the built ins that line each side of the closet entry.
Light, bright and spacious, as it should be. Now we'll go explore the upstairs.s
As we head back toward the family room we pass the media room on the left (across from the pool bath you saw earlier) which is conveniently located on the first floor. The room has padded fabric walls which allows movies to be enjoyed without disturbing the rest of the house. 
Back in the foyer, we're heading upstairs.
At the top of the stairs you're greeted by a rec room complete with wet bar. The passage seen here to the left leads to the finished area above the garage. Let's take a look...
Not your run-of-the-mill attic space. Climate controlled and complete with A/V sound system. This has a closet and access to a full bath, but no window so, technically, it can't be considered a bedroom. But it sure makes a great sleeping space.
We've just crossed by the wet bar and are in the adjacent full bath which also serves the guest room behind you.
Guest room has great space, a walk-in closet and access to the upper deck overlooking Lake Conroe. There's another guest suite on the other side that's a clone of this one with a reverse layout, and they're separated by a large room which we'll see next.
While technically designed to be an office/study, the current owners created a "bunk house" that's been a favorite of the grand kids. Like the adjacent bedrooms, it opens to the upper deck.
Speaking of the upper deck, it's covered and screened for your comfort and convenience. Here again, you have a view to Green Isle and the main body of Lake Conroe just beyond. Lake Conroe is over 21,000 acres of recreation, fishing and boating and this is your backyard.
The "clone" guest room on the other side, also with access to the upper deck. Behind you is a Hollywood bath that leads to the third upstairs guest room.
This is the Hollywood bath as seen from the third guest room. The passage way seen to the left leads around the corner and directly to the upper landing with access to everything you've just seen on the first floor.
Notice that there's no carpet anywhere to be found in this home. All the flooring is either tile or wood.
Back downstairs, the utility room lives between the kitchen and the access to the garage with a small office niche (maybe the chef's planning station?) in between. The laundry area features a sink, ample room for a full-sized fridge and to the left (not seen here) is more storage with a full-length hanging rack.
