The two-story historic building was utilized as a boarding house for employees for the Hardesty sawmill that was located on the property. The boarding house was built circa 1880 by Frank Hardesty. This would be an excellent location for an event center/wedding venue/bed and breakfast (must obtain approval from the City of Montgomery).
There is a total of 4.99 acres. There are two potential entrances to the house. 
The property is bordered to the East by the Lone Star Cowboy Church and the North by the New Montgomery Cemetery.
The purchase includes numerous items for restoration including bathroom fixtures, farm/pedestal sinks, clawfoot tub, modern and antique light fixtures, pull chain toilet, etc.
The boarding house has been fully plumbed and wired, however, they are not hooked up at this time. Power is currently available at the barn.
