Exceptional thought went into this layout. Abundance of cabinets, shelving, packing table, hanging space and again, abundance of light. Stone center island with laundry bins, t-shirt area and wood floors.

The tenant has two balconies, one in front of the home and the other overlooking their own outside entertaining space. The mechanicals to the home are adjacent to this space. It would be wise for me to point out that the pool for the main residence can not be seen from the guest house and or balconies and garden.
This is the space outside of the pool / powder room accessible from the pool and main residence. The yard you see is the outside of the Mechanical area, tenants outdoor space and solar.

Probably my most favorite view. This is what you see when you open the front magnetic gate upon entry. Raised wall of vegetation, Weeping Willow in the background and a pool sculpture at the beach deck of the saltwater pool. The pool depth is 3'6" to 5'6" with a 10' cocktail shelf inside. The exterior fence is laid in a horizontal fashion. The pool is both heated and air conditioned.
Looking back to the house from the south east corner of the yard. The plantings used are Mosquito Deterrent such as Lavender, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and are low water as well. Accent trees are lit from the base shining up on the planting in the evening.
A separate Firepit has brick surround, perimeter seating and pavers accented by Blackstar gravel. The grounds are tied in to the music and have glorious views of the home and landscape.
You can see the two separate residence. To the right is the Guest House with it's own outside area, separate outdoor kitchen with running water and storage shelve and then on the left, the main residence. This whole are is Astroturf. Roofing material TPO and secondary HVAC and waste / recycle bins are located behind the fence striaght ahead. 
Coming in from the street you have this motor court. There is a separate pedestrian gate adjacent to the sliding gate. The garage on the right if for the Guest House and has it's own washer / dryer tankless H2O heater and yard. Notice the balcony overlooking the motor court from the Guest house breakfast room.
Nice size separate bedroom for the Guest house complete with Plantation Shutters, full bath, breakfast room, kitchen, living and study as well as under counter seating.
