AESA Prep Academy is a K-12 private college prep school, with anaverage of 115-120 students. We have small student teacher ratios;6-8, with coginitively difficult subjects with as few as 1/2. Thetuirion for ES is 17K and for MS and HS students there is a chargefor electives and global languages, for an average of 19K. Ourstudents attend 4 year universities and receive excellentscholarship monies, based on their GPA, SAT/ACT scores, and theiraccomplishment such as being a NASA Junior Astrounaut, writing andart awards. Our goal is to provide a very postive,uplifiting, motivating and inspirting academic and socialexperience. Our courses are at the Honors level, and we askall Juniors and Seniors to have at least one dual credit coursefrom UC Berkeley and/or University of Texas at Austin. We donot offer AP classes, and consider them not to be equal to a highlevel university Dual Credit Course. All students and parents musthave an interview and students need to shadow for a day.:) AESA hasa close community and gives students life changingoppotunities. We want the learning to take place in theclassroom and therefore our homework load is significantly smallerthan an all AP load for public and other private schools.
