Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Distinction Designations for Spring High School and Andy Dekaney High School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Spring High School. They make up for 43.61% of student population, followed by African Americans (40.18%), Whites or Caucasians (11.12%), Two or More Races (3.11%), Asians (1.38%) and Native Americans (0.35%).
The student population at Andy Dekaney High School is also predominantly by African Americans at 47.79%, followed by Hispanics (46.88%), Whites or Caucasians (2.26%), Asians (1.40%), Two or More Races (0.90%) and Native Americans (0.59%).
Based on household incomes, the Spring High School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 72.14% compared to 80.89% at Andy Dekaney High School.
