Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Forney High School's one out of seven distinction is in Science. North Forney High School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Forney High School. They make up for 49.15% of student population, followed by Hispanics (29.03%), African Americans (16.98%), Two or More Races (2.99%), Asians (1.39%) and Native Americans (0.35%).
The student population at North Forney High School is also predominantly by African Americans at 40.90%, followed by Hispanics (26.63%), Whites or Caucasians (25.62%), Two or More Races (4.06%), Asians (2.27%) and Native Americans (0.31%).
Based on household incomes, the Forney High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 21.46% compared to 40.64% at North Forney High School.
