Nancy Neal Elementary School's two out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics and 25% closing performance gaps. D P Morris Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at D P Morris Elementary School. They make up for 58.88% of student population, followed by African Americans (25.83%), Whites or Caucasians (9.84%), Asians (3.69%), Two or More Races (1.58%) and Native Americans (0.18%).

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, D P Morris Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 44.11% of its student population compared to 8.33% at Nancy Neal Elementary School.
In addition, D P Morris Elementary School has 58.17% bilingual students, 1.76% are in the gifted and talented program, while 7.91% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Nancy Neal Elementary School with 8.33% bilingual students, 6.62% gifted and talented students and 11.27% students in the special education program.
