Carolyn Sanchez

Growing up in the culturally rich military city of San Antonio, Texas taught me a lot of things but the two most important things to me were how to be a good mother, and to be anything other than mediocre. The strong-will of my parents was something I cherished deeply especially the bravery, and sacrifices it took to bring us up well. I come from an exceptionally large and unique "modern family." My amazing husband and I have learned that having a good home is vital to our children's success. A large part of my family has or are currently proudly serving in the United Stated Armed Force varying from Marines, Navy, to my own sister, a disabled vet, who I admire, retired from the Army. I too was once a military spouse and know their sacrifices and how hard the process can be juggling daily life.
