Carlene Johnson

Carlene Johnson is an Air Force Veteran, conscientious Realtor®, Realtist, Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert™ (CDRE®) and President of the Houston, TX Chapter of the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP). She strives to assist her clients and network by being a real estate, military and Veteran resource for the Greater Houston area.





As a CDRE®, she uses her extensive background and experience within the family law courts to serve as an accredited service provider to families and family law practitioners who need a properly trained neutral 3rd party Realtor®. For couples who need to amicably resolve their unique divorce realty asset situation, her expertise helps reduce the expense of litigation through effective communication with both parties resulting in minimal counsel involvement. Her consultive approach is available before, during and after divorce.



Carlene's involvement in VAREP Houston, the Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce and numerous other military and Veteran focused organization speaks to her passion for advocacy and education for the military and Veteran community.



Carlene Johnson was born in Jamaica, W. I. and is an honorably discharged U. S. Air Force Desert Storm Combat Veteran. In September 2006 she became the first black woman, hired by a Harris County elected Family Law Judge, to serve as a Family Court Coordinator. October 2018, she became the first black Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert™. May 2021, she became the first female President of the Houston, TX Chapter of Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals.
