A buyer's agent should be someone you trust to be on your side. The agent should be sending you homes and scheduling showings for times that are convient for you. You want them at your finger tips because great homes sell fast. Be prepared to tell the agent what your looking for in your new home such as the area, how many rooms  and color pallets if thats important. You should be preapproved to purchase and if your not then your buyer's agent can point you in the right direction. You should never feel as if you a bother to your agent. They will become your best friend over time. Chose someone who work with you and for you.
