Angel's trumpet is a pretty addition to the garden and grow well in our Houston climate.  They have large trumpet shaped blooms and some varieties can become quite large.  Their botanical name is brugmansia and the flowers and seeds are poisonous if eaten.  Blooms last for several days and come in white, pale pink, pale yellow and a dark purple throated variety.  They have a good scent that is best noticed in teh evening/night.  They can grow in sun or shade and are tender to frost.  They can be pruned like a small tree in the garden.
