Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese

Yesterday we stopped in Downtown Montgomery, Texas at a place called Slice of Amish.

They curate fine Wisconsin cheese and provide a local market for traditional Amish goods and smoked meats. Their shop caters to those looking for that little something extra, perhaps not offered in your traditional grocery store.

They have artisan cheese and meats, and craft butter and candies. They also have a good selection of coffee beans, as well and they will be sampling out the coffee soon.

They offer an on-site cut-to-order cheese service and carry over 60 varieties of Wisconsin cheese in their display case. , so a little bit of everything. They even allow you to sample the cheese to find the ones that you love.

They also sell locally sourced honey from the Hive Bee Farm. Their honeycomb is what they call hive to hand and you will love it!

If you are looking for a special treat they also have hand-scooped ice cream in the shop.

They tell us that they will be offering charcuterie boards with some of their specialty cheeses and meats. If you have a special event, or just love charcuterie, then this is the place to go. They have an endless selection of jarred and pickled products, just about everything that you can think of.
