Barbara strives to be the ‘best’ at everything she does. She recently earned her EcoBroker license in an attempt to stay current on the topics that are relevant to today’s home buyers and sellers.

“My goal is to help sellers market the increased value of their homes with energy efficiency and environmental features and assist buyers in creating more purchasing power through energy-efficient mortgages and other programs,” says Barbara. “Realtors also come face-to-face with environmental issues, like radon, asbestos, water quality, mold, and other environmental challenges, and my EcoBroker training has given me a better understanding of the liabilities these issues create, how to reduce these liabilities for my clients, and how to keep deals together whenever possible.”

This Toronto native has always thrived on challenges and helping people deal with critical issues and situations. For many years, she worked as a pediatric nurse, specializing in neonatal intensive care. “I worked with premature babies with all kinds of diagnosis, from chromosomal disorders to genetic conditions, but my goal was always the same...to find a way to get each baby home.”

As rewarding as nursing was, Barbara had always wanted to become a Realtor, and when the right time came, she gave it everything she had...and then some and became a Broker.

“I’m thrilled with my career, and I bring my same level of compassion, determination and love for people that I brought to nursing,” says Barbara. “Helping people make intelligent real estate choices is something I enjoy and find so fulfilling.”
